Course Description:
Ten seminars from the Neuroscience formal seminar series will be chosen to form the basis of this course. The seminars, spread out over the 3 quarters, will represent a wide diversity of topics. In advance of the seminar, students will read and discuss background literature pertaining to the topic, including papers presenting conflicting points of view. The papers will be selected by the instructors in consultation with the seminar speakers. Students will attend the seminar and meet with the speakers after the seminar. The letter grade and 3 credits will be given at the conclusion of the spring quarter.
